Description You're asking for reasons
I ain't got none of those to give to you
They've all faded away
Replaced with something a little less true

You want
And you need
But you don't understand
If you want magic truth
Then just give me your hand
Birth and death
Nothing more
This is what you're living for

You don't know
Everything you think you have will one day fall away
You don't got
Anything that could ever stay
Well your dreams
And the man that's behind them are fictional
Realize right now
That ultimately you are alone

You're crying your eyes out?
Saying 'how could this be?
He loved me, he said it himself.
Then why did he just up and leave?'

Well here, I got your reasons
A poor man's alibi
No one can care forever
And always means never
There isn't anymore
This is what you're living for

You don't know
Everything you think you have will one day fall away
You don't got
Anything that could ever stay
Well your dreams
And the man that's behind them are fictional
Realize right now
That ultimately you are alone

Realize right now
You ain't got time to waste
Realize right now
The first betrayal is only a taste

You don't know
Everything you think you have will one day fall away
You don't got
Anything that could ever stay
Well your dreams
And the man that's behind them are fictional
Realize right now

Thank you very much! Those were my favourites too... that first bit of the song was inspired by some older Goo Goo Dolls, and I tried to give it the same sound.

But everytime I see the line 'There isn't anymore,' I think of Madeline... the cartoon that I was obsessed with as a kid. They used to say, at the end of the show, 'That's all there is. There isn't anymore.' Ahh, nostalgia!

Thank you again for your comment!

I like the pattern of this song, I can sing it (in my head) and it follows the beat perfectly. It's a very upbeat song as you said.

Thankya!

You can belt it out, man! Although, I sort of wrote it in the fashion of a Goo Goo Dolls song, so I'd love if Johnny would one day sing it.

Although it'd have to be 1,283,325,528 times better. Chyeah.
