Description I made it a different way this time, and took all the pictures beforehand instead of multitasking, which might of made it confusing, so sorry about that.

I remember seeing some tutorial like this a long time ago and It made me go like
"This is so redundant. Why would you want to paint over everything with shadow and then erase the light out? Just straight up draw the damn shadows!"Β 

Now that I've actually tried this tehnique I was like
"Whoa... I know Kung Fu."

It literally blew my mind and with the very first stroke of the eraser I went "Ohmygosh this is gonna be SO GUD! How did I not encounter this sort of tutorial earlier?!"

Whoever invented this technique some hundreds years ago is a goddam genius!
