Seriously, I cannot stress how annoying it is when I see people repost the "hacker alert" chain bait!

Okay, technically, this could count as bait too... but unlike the "hacker alerts", it has a good reason to exist: To tell people that there is no hacker on DeviantART, and to stop with all this crap that's been escalating since... 2012, I think?

But if you truly think that there's a hacker on the loose on this website, surprise! There isn't! If there was, you probably wouldn't get into your account, and your deviations would be deleted.

And... if you think that the "hacker alerts" will get you more views on DeviantART... get some help, or actually try drawing art or writing fanfics. This hacker chain mail is old news, and getting annoying super fast.
