this is nice. It is a bit undefined around the shoulder/neck area, and I would have added a slight grey behind the lighted parts of her body, eg. at the "front" of her neck, just to show the light more. but really cool work!

Thanks. I agree about the shoulder and neck area. I think I don't have some of it down in my mind yet (anatomically, constructionly...).
Appreciate the critique

It will get there, at some point. that is the nice thing bout classical drawing. Practise really does improve your skills. and it is soo useful in other styles as well.

Yea, that's also what I'm seeing.
Everything is easier for me to visualize in 3D since I started live drawings about a year ago - and the more I do it the more I learn. I've been using Glenn Vilppu's tutorials quite a bit. Extremely helpful.

Certainly. At my school they rarely take anyone in who has not taken a course in classical drawing. Oh yeah, glenn vilppu. He is going to teach a few classes at my school soon, and I regret not signing up for it when I had the opportunity. next year is a must!

I study at The Animation Workshop, Denmark. He drops by at least once a year to teach here.
