Ah...Saren....what a loser. I just beat Mass Effect a while ago, and I must say: Saren's a jerk. I'm glad I got to kill him (He ended up killing himself first) at the end.

What? Saren's actually pretty cool, and technically fits the definition of hero almost as much as villain. The fact that he will commit suicide after being shown the truth, and that Sovereign was able to convince him that he was protecting the galaxy, proves that.
Yeah . . . I'm a Saren fan.

At the end, yes, but throughout the game, he was a jerk. Saren is a bad-a**, yes, but he was still a villian. But as we know, there is still that good part of him. The whole thing about me being glad I got to kill him anyways was just payback for all the crap he made me go through. I have this feeling for most every final boss I have to kill. They're jerks, all of 'em.

. . . That's an interesting perspective, but all of the 'crap' a video game villain makes you go through is the game itself, which you-provided you actually like the game- ENJOY.
Villains are doing me a favor.

While that is true, and I do value the villians for that, what I meant by the crap is more specifically the stuff like, 'Oh! You just travelled 50 miles to get to a base, took three hours stealthily getting in, four more hours to find the objective, and another hour dying over and over at the level's boss just to find out that it was all a decoy, or that know one of my teammates dies unexpectedly.' Yes, that was fun to play through, don't get me wrong, but it sure was annoying finding out that I just got a huge pile of dino-droppings shoved down my throat. When that happens, I want to shove more down the main villian's throat by the time I finally get to him.

But then, I don't hold grudges well.

It's just something I do in games. By the time the game throws all of its curveballs (which deep down on the inside, I love to death, despite what I say) at me, I start to hate the villian. I want him to be put down and stay down. At the end of Mass Effect, I did start to hope that I could bring him over to the "good side," but I still said "good riddance" when he was gone. I surpose that's just the way I am.

Yeah, they just kind of boomed recently. I'm not sure if it's because of the hype for Mass Effect 2 or because *sandara was painting them. Maybe both.
