I do wonder though why they killed off Iris. I actually liked her alot.
Iris basically was the perfect companion for him, especially with him being so serious and tough, she helped show a softer side of him.
It was really touching when Zero held her hand when she was dying. It showed he really did care about her.
And yea, the more I thought about it, he does remind me of Shadow, in more ways than one. Both of them started out on the side on the villain, eventually becoming a hero.

For starters, Fiona is a cyborg who was brainwashed by Robotnik into thinking Sonic killed her parents.
She was turned into a cyborg when she was five, and later grew up to be a warrior bred for one sole purpose: the Destruction of Sonic the Hedgehog. She is armed with an electro-whip, retractable battle claws, a few chemical weapons, and wears a black bodysuit. Her hair is longer, too. Also, when she feels a certain amount of rage, her eyes turn red and she becomes a berserker. Later she becomes a Freedom Fighter after her memories come back and she discovers the true identity of the monster who killed her parents: Robotnik. Of course, this is after she tries to kill Sonic in the most gruesome way possible, while laughing like a madwoman. Of course when her memories start to come back, she feels like her head's being being torn open and screams in agony. After finding out Robotnik killed her parents, she looks at Sonic with tears in her eyes and says "I'm sorry." She then rushes off to Robotnik's command center, tearing SWATbots to pieces, bent on ripping Robotnik's heart out. Of course, when she's about to kill Robotnik, Sonic stops her by saying "If you kill him, you're no better than he is."

Fiona is one of those complex characters who definitely needs more of a backstory.
Anyway, one thing I do disagree with, though I have to admit is true, is Sonic saying she'd be no better than him if she killed him.
Sometimes, killing the one who's causing chaos and destruction within your world is the only way to return peace to it.

I actually would like that idea, something similar to what Krystal from StarFox wears.
I never liked the idea of her wearing just a vest. It seems too controversial IMO.

I have to admit though, I never could decide on what style of outfit would be appropriate for her, since she is a princess after all.
