I too love old buildings, especially ruins. Although there aren't too many ruins in Besalu it's a great little town. Thank you for the comment and the fave.

Old buildings are full of history Havana has beautiful architecture for such a poor place. Although I was shocked at some stores I couldn't even afford the clothes.

An enchanted village!
I had the same problem with "ΓΆ", DA didn't allow me to name my photos "EichhΓΆrnchen", so I had to call them "Squirrel". Probably this is better for nobody knows EichhΓΆrnchen

Not only would DA not allow the accent but they renamed it "1" !! Why??! and I didn't notice until after submitting - aagh!
You are right: few people would know Eichhornchen and squirrel IS a much shorter word!!

I thought I had called it BesalΓΊ but obviously DA didn't like me trying to put an accent in. lol. I'll try and correct it. Beautiful and interesting town isn't it.

Yes.
Regarding the accent issue, several years ago we Spanish speakers tried to get DA staff to accept it but we obvioulsy failed. Same for 'eΓ±e'. I hate to write 'otonio'.
