Oh it is. On this occasion I was only strolling along the tow path but I have had several canal holidays - great fun, even the falling in bit!!

Thank you - as mentioned in the description the photo was taken with a camera of pre digital era. I think I should go back to the same spot and take a photo with my newer digital camera and compare the results!!

Thanks - yes it was the old 35mm film but fortunately the photographic firm that printed the photos had just started offering a CD of the photos in addition to the prints (at extra cost of course!!) so at least I haven't had to scan the photos!
