This doesn't happen to be in Houghton on the Hill does it? Beautiful wintry shot

Haha I am a genius you see No I actually have a couple of friends who live in and around the village. I remember getting lost one day and ended passing the church several times. It's on Main Street if I'm not mistaken? Wish I lived in your village though, so much more peaceful than where I live.

Yep, sheer genius! I pass it quite often too but I'm not usually lost! The church looks especially good at night when it's floodlit.

Thank you. Pleased you like it. That beautiful church is in fact in our village. Warmer today and the sun is shining
so much so that I felt moved to clean windows!!

It's here. It's about 86 degrees (F) here and will climb another 3 before evening.

Thanks for that!! Top temp of -2 deg C here today (what's that in fahrenheit, about 28?) and falling!! Two weeks ago it was +18 deg C (65F)! I daresay Spring really will arrive before too long.

You are not wrong! Snowed for more than 24 hours here but only about 12cm of snow.(further north it was metres!) The drifts were deeper, as I discovered when taking this photo!!

I see.
For having trusted too much weather forecast, I wasted this Saturday.

Nah - just don't believe a word they say and check out a Spanish website which gives a Rainfall Radar map - you then decide for yourself if the forecasters are correct!! You also know if you should take the umbrella!!

It's not worth to be away for kicks if you need to carry such a thing. I prefer stay home in that case.

In UK we would spend our whole life indoors! Must admit I don't often carry an umbrella, I just get very wet!

I know but it's uncomfortable to carry it if you're sightseeing. Plus I would probably lose it.

Also, I think blokes carrying one look a bit silly (apologies to any umbrella carrying blokes who may read this!)

I'll sum it up: if it's going to rain I won't just travel anywhere.
