Pleased you think so, although I was a little disappointed with it after submitting. The clouds just seemed a bit false. I know in real life they were fairly spectacular but not sure photo did them justice. Thanks for commenting.

I looked at clouds anew once I had read "James and the Giant Peach" by Roald Dahl. I suddenly started seeing little men within!!  I know it's aimed at children but I loved reading it to my own children. D

As you well know, by having a good imagination it is amazing what you can see in the clouds.    
In regards to reading and liking children’s books reminds me of the quotation “What is the sense of being grown up if you can’t be childish now and again”.

I think we managed to escape that one by driving east but we seemed to have driven straight into storms for the previous 24 hours. 2 months later and we are now in Spain and last night experienced one of the most spectacular storms ever! The sky seemed to be lit up by lightning all the time and for almost 2hours!! I think it just seems to be our luck (!!) this year.

Indeed. After the spectacular lightning we had a storm a couple of days later which produced the most torrential rain I have ever experienced. We were eating lunch at the time ... outside!!! We managed to scramble indoors before getting soaked; the waiters were not so lucky!

Thank you Yadi - yes indeed the clouds were massive and quite spectacular. The photo really doesn't do them justice.
