Oh it would!! We just didn't have time for a drink that day but would love to go back and spend more time there ... it's a beautiful little town. If only I could remember exactly where it was!!!

Must admit I would like to go back there and take more photos. My visit was long before I even knew of the existence of DA and was essentially a snapshot photographer. Now I look at things with new eyes!!

I know just what you mean. I took a series of photos in England and Paris with a film camera, on my first trip to Europe. Since I started using a digital, I found it so much easier to share photos and do my own editing. I joined DA in 2010 after a trip to Rome.Β

Yes the courtyard is lovely but the whole village is beautiful. It is one of the "Beautiful Villages of France" Noyers-sur-Serein: in the Burgundy region of France. Sadly, we were only passing through and had no time for the glass of wine, and we were driving also, so perhaps not advisable!!

Oh yes. I plan our route through France and always try to include an interesting little village. We've found some lovely places but admit I would like to go back to Noyers.

On my travel I mainly look for a new place. If you come back to a known place it has been changed.

Agreed: we did that in South Africa. We found a little bay with the sea, oh so blue, in 2001. We went back last year and decided to revisit the bay. We were disappointed we were not even sure it was the same place, it had certainly not changed for the better.
