Finally. Ugh.
Well, 30 panels. I could've gone to as big as 35, but it wouldn't have added the suspense of who told Mr L to stop and not kill Luigi. Yes, that's the dark power coming out. Ooh, who is it?

And also, yes. Daisy kneed Mr L in the groin. DM punched Mario's face into the round on panel 13. What I wanted you to imagine is as Mario's body is falling to the floor just as he was released, DM came down with that punch. Mario is spitting out blood in the next one.
Both Mario and Luigi say "Don't you touch her...".

Last panel looks awesome. Obviously the person who said that to him is someone who Mr L isn't happy with showing up.
