thank for puting this toturial up i thought that coral paint shop pro was useless its cause i couldn't figure out the layering on the soft ware also what does roster mean?

no problem. roster? do you mean raster? in a raster layer, you can pretty much do anything on it except anything that requires a vector layer. (ex. text, shapes, pen tool.)
