I made some fake blood and was experimenting with the camera, and the flowers + blade to make a conceptual work. Pretty much just playing around with blood, it was fun, but it stained my hand pretty bad haha, that's what i get i guess. It was especially difficult to try and get some good angles of my hand, when only using one hand to take the photo...it would have been so much easier if i had a model. Fake blood is so fun, i tricked my Dad into thinking i had a cut on my hand, his face was pretty funny.
I hope you enjoy this series I've been really inspired to do conceptual work on the topic of self- harm lately, some of the stuff is pretty fun to do, but the topic makes me sad. I pray for those who are hurting, it gets better, i'm sure
