Once you pay, the adoptable is yours. You can sell/trade/gift it, change the design/species etc. I cannot stop you from doing anything with the adopt after purchase.
Flatsales are first come first served, don't whine if someone got there before you.
Full payment must be made before you own the character.
I can hold for up to 48 hours for point payments.
