Description
This is an image for my brothers desk.I'm looking for some feedback, it's nowhere near good enough to be printed yet, how can I improve the texture and detailing?

This is a good start, but I'd suggest that you look up photographic references for your subject and study them. For example, stone/brick walls tend to have a surprising amount of organic variation in color and form. Practice using the photos as references, attempting to copy them, and then apply what you learn from that to this piece.
As for texture, you may find it helpful to use sites like lostandtaken.com , which have free-to-use textures that you can apply to your pieces.

Taking your own reference photos is a great idea, since you get to choose your own subjects that way. Also, there's absolutely no chance of copyright issues if you post them anywhere.
