Yeah there are several screens of them having somewhat regular feet. More than once in the comics.
Btw the "can you prove it" sounded a bit rough, I was simply stating what I know to have seen.

it really depended on the artist I notice, way back in the day it was 4-5, and currently it's three... though thankfully the comics haven't adopted the "official" toe count of zero.

Several characters have been shown in the comics and the cartoon shows...
Problem is, the toe count is inconsistent as hell. It ranged from 3, 4 or 5, or even none at all (as seen in Sonic X and current official artwork).
I personally prefer five since...it makes sense to have five fingers and five toes, right?
