I want to make an OC pony, but I can't decide if I want a pegasus or a unicorn (Alicorns are looked down upon so I'm not gonna try it) and I really can't decide on a cutie mark. I love art, video games, and music, how do I put all that into one symbol!?

It's just my opinion but I like to pick one thing and just go with that. I see so many cutie marks that are too many things - for example a sun, a cloud, a music note, a star, a paint brush, a heart, a video game controller, a dog paw print (why not?) all together tied up in a bow, it's just too much. I have three major things about my personality that I wanted to capture in an OC so I made 3 OCs; one for animals, one for art and one for science - just so happens that the animal one is my favorite so she is my pony-sona (her name is Pollywog and she has a frog cutie mark) - I am still working out her hair design but this is what she looks like: snakehands.deviantart.com/art/…
Once you get that I think it's much easier to come up with a design - and since it's MLP if you can have it in the shape of a heart or a triangle it looks more canon. One of my favorite cutie marks (after my frog) is the cutie mark for Storybook (snakehands.deviantart.com/art/… ) owned by . It's simple, meaningful and shaped like a heart without being frilly, I think it is very well made.
