Description
The man I'm slightly in love with -- Gaspard Ulliel, ie. young Hannibal. He makes me proud to say I'm part French.Anyway, I'm quite satisfied with how this one turned out. Probably a few more nitpick things I should do, but I really must get to my math homework sometime this weekend.... Anyway, working on this cheered me up after yesterday, so it's all good.
(Oh, and, I haven't a clue about Twilight, but I agree with the masses that Gaspard should have gotten the role!)

To be honest, I though Hannibal Rising kind of.... ruined Hannibal for me, if I dwelled on it much.
... but Gaspard was the movie's saving grace

D: It definitely wasn't as good as Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal, but I still thought it was quite great. As far as prequels go, it could have been a lot worse.

I guess... I like Hannibal as a psychopath. Not a guy with a messed up childhood who became messed up himself because of it. His sympathetic side is his suave and sophisticated nature. He doesn't need people to feel sorry for him because of his past.
... I mean, it was an enjoyable enough movie. I just didn't want to think of the main character as a young Hannibal.

Yeah. D: But, I didn't really feel the need to feel sorry for him or anything. I just liked it as a revenge flick.
I really can't think of how else Thomas Harris would have done it though. 
Speaking of Hannibal though, I just took the Jung inventory test and got the same personality type as Hannibal and Clairice.

oh, you've got to read them!! I read them before once, and I just recently re-read them. Its really worth reading them. If not for the literature, at least read them to see why Gaspard would be so perfect! xD
