well this one wasn't really about going green this time. Max's mom gets kidnapped and she and Fan kiss. a lot.

Well that's good. Well...she and Fang kiss in all of them...then they get awkward then they make up at the end but don't kiss again...Happens everytime...lol But I'm not sure....I like the series the way it was. I think Patterson is dragging it out a little bit...so I'll preserve Maximum Ride as it was!
Btw have you read the tangent of Maximum Ride by Patterson? Where the Wind Blows and the Lakehouse are both excellent!!! They are the adult type books sorta around the same concept that Patterson wrote before the teen series. They are AMAZING!

Um, can I ask you something? Is the book series a good one? The friend I mentioned seemed really happy about it, but...erm...there's a few things that kind of give me pause about going through and buying one of the books >.<;
I'm sorry if I'm being a pain to you, I'm just working on a book-project...thingy of my own and studying up on what makes books good and popular is somewhat important to me at the moment

Thanks! Well I did make sure to keep to his appearance. The only thing that is off is his skin. It's olive..not pale but hte filter I used kinda killed the skin.
No problem at all I don't mind answering. The first book is excellent. The second as well. THe third is okay...and hte fourth and fifth suck. So I'd read the first three. But I didn't even read the 5th one yet so....
If you want to know another good book you should check out The Mortal Instruments Series...it's really good! And increasing in popularity!
Or you could read When the Wind Blows and the Lakehouse which are books about a character similar toMax the main character of Maximum ride...but it's like an adult and pre-Maximum Ride books.

Um, I hate to be a bother, but what in your oppinion makes the first three so great? I don't mean to be nosy or doubt you or anything, but...well, some people just like certain things. I'm not too fond of Twilight, so if it was reccomended to me by someone who was a huge fan, then I'd be disappointed when I try to read it >.<;
Mortal Instruments? I've never heard of it, but it sounds neat! What genre is it in? I just need to know so that I can know where to look in the bookstore. (I wasted roughly 20 minutes looking in the sciencefiction/fantasy section for Maximum Ride before I went into the young adult XD )

Let's see....I'm not saying that the Maximum Ride series is a "great" series, I believe it's better than Twilight but not as great as other series. I mean it is a teen's novel so it cannot be that good. I feel like the fourth and fifth installments of the Maximum Ride series kind of stray from the plot and are more of books written for money more than written for the sake of the story.
The Mortal Instruments is a trilogy it's urban fantasy, which I thought was weird but...it's actually very good. And I don't hate the main character as much as Bella.
Not exactly pre-Max Ride. But maybe the plot bunny for it. James Patterson wrote them for adults though. It's much better than the regular series I think. Max has the same name but is a completely different character but she does have the avian features and such. It's really good. I definitely recommend it!

Well, almost anything is better than Twilight by my definition (underline the "my"...I don't want to be bricked by its fans o.o), but I think I get what you mean. So...teens novels are usually looked at as inferior? Drat...might have to change my characters around, then >.>;
Sad about the later books being written for money, though...oh well, I suppose that if they sold fairly well, then some good came of it...sorta...maybe? *shrugs* :/

It's not in first person. It's in third person actually.
Well you should definitely look into both the Mortal Instruments and the When the Wind Blows series.
