i've been getting into embroidery over the past couple of months! i've been practicing making gifts for other people, but i wanted to sit down and make something just for me. i've always loved moths! :3c although i've only been embroidering for around two months now, i absolutely love it! it's nice to sit down and make something with my hands. might open these as commissions if people are interested!ΒRelated content

Okay I'm only now going through old deviations I missed seeing months ago so sorry if this seems like a weird comment on something submitted months ago but THIS IS SO PRETTY!! Love the color palette you went with! I too got the embroidery bug, its so fun and a great keep hands busy activity! Its one of the few craft supplies I brought with me here. I only have finished one piece so far and it was a gift last year, so hoping to explore it more while here.Β
AND this moth reminds me of this crazy moth I saw here a few months back I'll have to show you the picture at some point

omg thank you so much!! not weird at all ahaha i appreciate it! <3 and thank you!!! god the color palette was such a struggle fl;ksaj i had to do mock-ups to decide what color i wanted for the body omg it was such a deliberation but im really happy with it too!Β
and YESSS another embroidery buddy!!! it's so much fun and so relaxing. i love embroidering on the train bc it's like something to do with your hands and brain without staring at a screen. we should totally do an embroidery trade some time! and PLEASE show me the moth i love moths yes yes yesΒ
