I can see a situation where Light did something wrong or messed up and Mythic comes along to cheer her up.

Light let out a sad sigh as she sat alone outside in the garden. She was in charge for the day while the rest of the royals were out on an assignment. Well to start it off, she had to sit through a boring lesson about how to handle the castle for the day. Then she had to rush off and handle an argument between two ponies about business that took a few hours. Then she was in charge of a royal party in the castle where everything went wrong. To top it all off, she accidentally dropped the cake for the royal party.

She ran outside and let tears run down her cheeks at her failure. "How can I be future queen if I can't even be a proper princess." she said to herself. She felt something touch her back as she turned to face Mythic. "Hey, you okay?" Mythic asked. "Just peachy." she said as he sat next to her. "What happened back there?" he asked. "They were right." Light said. "Who was? About what?" Mythic asked. "I am a alicorn screw-up. How could I possibly think I can take over my mom's place as queen." Light said looking down. Mythic knew how much she wanted to prove herself but he knew she didn't half too. I mean come on, she saved Equestria from his mother! He smiled as an idea came to mind. Using his magic, he made instruments appear and play a all familiar tune. "Myth, not now." Light said rolling her eyes, "This is not the time." He gave a sly look as he continued on with his plan. His part came up as he sang, "You with the sad eyes. Don't be discouraged." Light folded her hooves, determined not to fall in. "I'm not doing this." she said firmly as he tilted her chin up. "Oh I realize, it's hard to have courage in a world full of people. You can loose sight of it all. The darkness inside you can make you feel so small." Light stay put as Mythic gave a warm smile at her. "Show me a smile and don't be unhappy, can't remember when I last saw you laughing. This world makes you crazy and you've taken all you can bare just call me up and I will always be there." he sang as he ran his hoof down her wings making her blush slightly. "And I see your true colors shining through, I see your true colors and that's why I love you." Mythic was behind her as he wrapped his hooves around her, waiting for her cue. Light couldn't help it as she placed her hooves on his as she sang her part, "So don't be afraid, to let them show. Your true colors, true colors are beautiful." He turned her around to face him as h started to lead her into a dance. "I see your true colors shinning through. True colors. I see your true colors and that's why I love you. So don't be afraid to let them show. Your true colors, true colors are beautiful." He brought her into a dip as he smiled down at her making her blush more than she usual. "Like a rainbow. Ohhh like a rainbow." they ended in union as they laid there heads against each other. Bringing her up he asked, "Better?" "Much better. You always know how to cheer me up." she smiled as he kissed her forehead. "You're my best friend, my special somepony. I know how to cheer you up." he said as she giggled.
