A'merowara-ke - couldn't decide on the name of either America or A’nowarà:ke (meaning on the turtle/turtle island) so I just smashed them together cause thats the English way, taking words and making them yourown

  Original States
Georgia - same as OTL (isn't allowed to illegally expand western into Muscogee lands)
Laurusia - renamed after founding father & belonged governor of South Carolina, Henry Laurens
Carolina - dropped the North part after South Carolin's name change
Virginia - same as OTL
Maryland - same as OTL (gives western lands as comprise?)
Delmarva - renamed after Delaware gained the entire peninsula
Pennsylvania - same as OTL
New Jersey - same as OTL
New York - same as OTL
New England - Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island & Up-State-New York unite
Plimouth - released from Massachusetts
New Hampsire - same as OTL
Wabana'ki - joins the Americas
Canada - named after Kanata meaning village :joins the Americas and splits into three states
Hodínöhšö:ni:h - joins the union, Iroquois

  First New States - Peace of Paris 1783
Šahkamoolitioni - Miami word meaning Communion: union of Eastern Miami, Shawnee, Lenape & Ohio peoples
Appalachia - named after the mountains
Erieland - named after the Erie people: lands sold in comprise with native peoples
Kentucky - same as OTL
Frankland - doesn't change name to Franklin cause reasons
Nouvelle-Acadie - name after the first colony of Acadie: union of the Acadiens and the Mi'kmaq
Québec - named after the state's capital
Cape Shelburne - named after Cape Roseway where a large amount of loyalist moved to after AR war
Détroit - named after the straits: a fort turned free city turned state
Checagou - named by french explorer LaSalle
Anishinaabéwaki - named after the people of Council of the Three Fires
Illiniwekia - named after the Illinois Confederacy: union of North-Western Miami and the remants Illinois tribes
Égynois - combination of Egypt and Illinois: lands seeded by native, Little Egypt area
Oklahumma' - named by the union of the Chickasaw and Choctaw: annex eastern lands of the Upper Creek
Mvskokeria - name of the lands of the Muscogee people: annex western lands of the Upper Creek
Ssiquoya - named after great Cherokee statesman, Sequoyah: Sequoyah is responsible for the state's creation
Yat'siminolia - meaning free people: seminole and freemen union in Spanish Florida
Calusa - named after the natives who inhabited the area
Mississippi - it was either this or Florida since I murdered OTL Florida (note: Republic of West Florida just called itself Florida)
Tennessee - same as OTL
Omǣqnomenēwak-ahkew - name of the Menominee homeland (couldn't think of a shorter name or a reason to shorten it yet)
Ojibwewaki - named after the Ojibwe (state comprising of the Western Ojibwe and Metis peoples)

Nouvelle-Orléans - named after New Orléans (possible Marquis de Lafayette governor/ Afro-Creole cultural capital?)
Lousiane - same as OTL but with greater Louisianais/Créoles influence (possible Marquis de Lafayette governor)
Arkansas - same as OTL
Okašką - granted statehood after Lovely's Purchase, name of the Osage
Missouri - same as OTL
Očhéthi Šakówiŋ - similar Treaty of Fort Laramie, name of the Seven Council Fires (counter balanace to Three Fires/Comanche states?)
Awadi Aguraawi; - similar Treaty of Fort Laramie
Apsáalooke - similar Treaty of Fort Laramie
Hinono'eino' Biito'owu' - similar Treaty of Fort Laramie
Jefferson - named after Thomas Jefferson (similar to Ohio country, mix of multiple indo and euro peoples

Erekusú - Lucumí name for the island (more mixed race same of the island? Maroons?)

Ispayola - Haitian Creole name for Hispaniola (successful Haitian Revolution?)
Puerto Rico - same as OTL
The Karaïbes - union of the Caribbean islands (The Bahamas of the East basically)

  West Coast Wars/Purchases
Niitsitapi - Blackfoot Confederacy
Tacoma - same as OTL except Tacoma name proposal passes instead of Washington
Oregon - same as OTL
Nimíipuuland - union of the Sahaptian people with Anglo-metis
Secwepemcúl̓ecw - meaing Shuswap COuntry of the Secwépemc people (confederacy doesn't fall apart? - needs more research)
Dhezeret - its the Mormons (they're removed/forced/moved again to Vancouver - was a real proposal to purchase from Canadians - 15% plausiblity = more research)

Eureka - named after gold rush, 49ers and all that, yippee!
Alta California - similar to OTL, keeps Alta as Baja California is also in the Union (also a melting pot? more natives possible, no genocide and draining of lakes/or is stopped by the fed/ like Tulare Lake)
Arenosa - spanish name meaning Sandy (took inspiration from Nevade name - Californios proposal for a southern split is successful {Colorado name is already taken so I coin flipped Arenosa, Mojave, New/Nuevo California, etc etc})
