A year, ten months and a new design later and here's the new Ghost. I was starting to dislike the 'old' design and it was progressively changing in each picture I drew of her so I decided to just go through with a new design.

Ghost now has a true breed instead of just being any cat and I choose a Maine Coon because I'm in love with them. Also it's easier to design one when your own cats are that breed (I'm pretty sure anyway; the vet said their mother is an American shorthair and their features look similar to those of a Maine Coon on google images so I'm going with it.) I referenced some pictures for color and such and noticed that a bunch of the cats had a dark or lighter stripe at the base of their tail (Like this: 2.bp.blogspot.com/-zlP8ChEAfHQ… or this: pictures-of-cats.org/wp-conten… ) And I liked the idea of it so I went with it. I also changed her eye color to blue just cause it's one of my favorite colors and I wasn't really into the orange.

I referenced the paw pad color off of my own cats pads as well. Patches has this weird thing where one pad is black and the other is tan or had some black mixed with it and vice versa. Shadow's kind of the same way.

So overall I think I might stick with this design longer just because it's simpler and I enjoy it a lot better. To be honest the last design really wasn't my favorite, it was more of a "I really really hate the old design and this is a major improvement for now."
