I'm officially done with my bull ride entries (mostly because I ran out of willing guys to slap on bulls XD). Joe is the last of the three riders headed to the DWR Spring Rodeo Event .

You were never too old to 'do whatever you damn well pleased!', or so one Joseph Marrow had gone in to this ride thinking. By the third buck his hips were doing some thinking of their own, and they thought he should reconsider that stance some time between now and the next time this bull landed.

It wasn't the first time he had done something like this, but it was the first time in the last twenty odd years give or take a decade. Definitely not since his son had been born. No, it had been mostly reasonable, ranch bred ponies for longer than he had fingers to count on.

His stomach gave an unwilling lurch as his tailbone parted company with the back of his bull. Still clinging to the strap he was a good foot above where he should be while both he and the bovine were sliding in roughly the same direction as one lost it's footing and the other his seat. Only real problem with it was old Joe was sliding faster.

Rider: Joseph Marrow
Bull: Blue Man Chew

Results: Like his son, Joe did not ride his bull the full time. No sooner had his knees hit dirt than he was up and away toward the fence like he had jack rabbit in his blood. While he is feeling far better that his offspring, Joe is still secretly taking painkillers until the bruising in his knees goes down.
