Description
UPDATE 10/5/2019: There's a couple of things about this image that are no longer accurate in Smacky's current story. Elemarae (the demoness) shouldn't be topless, Sahmika should be wearing a dress because she was traveling with her father back from another town when this fight took place, and she also should be more puzzled than triumphant because she doesn't yet understand how she was able to make a shot like this with such limited archery skills. I still like this image a lot, but one day I hope to make an updated version that's more accurate to the story. What actually happens is that Sahmika and her father are returning to Ronail after visiting a great library in the hopes of learning more about the demon attack upon the castle a few days prior (Smacky's first battle and the first sign of flaemes in the land). They come across a burning caravan near a fae-filled garden, and a few archers taking cover from attacks by this demoness, perched high on the rocks by the side of the road. Master Wendell is fairly skilled with a bow, but Elemarae is able to harmlessly swat his arrows away (not that they would hurt her anyway). Sahmika picks up a discarded bow and tries to shoot, but her first arrow practically falls out of her grip. Elemarae laughs and invites her to take another shot, which travels a bit further, but is still wildly off target. Confidently raising her arms and stretching back, the demoness gives Sahmika one more chance before taking flight and unleashing fiery breath on those below. The third arrow took flight predictably way off the mark, but suddenly veered back on target with the apparent help of a nearby fae, cleanly piercing Elemarae's navel and sending her crashing from her perch to her demise. No one knew at the time that Sahmika was fae herself, and that she would eventually harness the assistance of her nature spirit kin in her battles with the demonesses, but everyone learned that day that there was more to the dark-skinned maiden than they might have thought.
updated: 7/13/2013 - improved afro contrast and some basic color correction. Compare it to the Braids version to see overall changes.
Smacky still prefers blades and fists when battling the she-devils, but it seems she can also put an arrow where it needs to go when necessary.
Braids version here: snowsultan.deviantart.com/art/β¦
Remake of sorts of my "I Don't Only Kill Demonesses" test pic. Background, most of the demoness' thong, and part of her hair painted by me (yay, I painted something semi-decent!), rest is 3D with a Painter X oil paint clone mixed in.
Thanks for viewing and to all my regular visitors for their patience. Sorry it takes me so long to make stuff, I just hope it's worth the wait.

I'm surprised how many people liked it, I hadn't realized at the time that was something people were into. Glad you like it!

Trust me Snow. That was (when I was in the business) the money shot. Working in the fetish market we knew what cranked the engines. Feet were big, navels and tits were drivers in terms of body parts. Then there were specific acts. It all goes into the cake.

You were in the fetish business? Heh I bet you came across all kinds of weird stuff. I knew nothing of it until I joined the internet, now I know more than I'd like to. Β

Well ya. But I don't wish to say too much about on an open broad. We actually started in 95. Believe it or not the big cost we faced was advertisement. Back then the internet was in it's infancy. If you produced something and no one knew it, that doesn't do you any good. But along came the internet and all that changed over night. As here, you were not looking for me, I was looking for you. Bingo, you save a ton of money. Everyday you get new traffic for which you don't spend a dime for. I had high hopes back then. I saw us being the next big thing. Sadly it didn't pan out that way. Don't frit we generated a considerable about of money even when some credit card company's didn't want to extend finical assistance to us. A lot of stuff DA carries without a problem, we got scorned for. Also, digital was just coming. For most of our time we only had high band analog cameras until about 2000. Which didn't produce the image we see today and programs like iClone 6 wasn't even possible. We did edit on iMac's and the final result was good for the time but when you compare it to what is available today, there is no contest. We simply were just too early to benefit from the digital revolution. You one the other hand will profit from. Take full advantage of your time. The other big thing is, no one here has to pay a model. I did.

Interesting, thanks for the story. Oh I don't think I'll profit from this, I don't make enough art or any art of any real quality. I'm just glad some people like it. Β

I would argue the quality thing. Your stuff is certainly commercial grade. But going into the fetish production business isn't without someΒ headaches. Just the other day a guy here that was in business got his site hacked and perhaps hundreds of credit card numbers were take of his customers. It wasn't his fault but I would bet you a dollar to a doughnut that there will beΒ a bunch of people less than happy and they likely will blame him. When you are inΒ business, particularly the fetish business there is always going to be something. You can count on that.

How did you achieve the paint-like look in many of your works, if you don't mind me asking? I'd love to know!

Thanks! I don't really use any secret method, just a lot of color correction and curves in Photoshop. My raw renders are actually pretty dark, but rather than trying to lighten them in my 3D program, I just do it all in Photoshop where I have much more control. Sorry I can't give you any specific tips, but if you experiment with the various adjustments in postwork, like Brightness/Contrast, Curves, Hue/Saturation and such, you'll probably be surprised at what a difference they can make.

The gaped wince and lifeless fingers are the best part of this one. I also love the simple, purple garment with its eerie "eye." Not to sound grisly, but the corpse of a slain female should be posed in awkward yet unassumingly sensual positions and you have INDEED done that here. Well done.
