Very quick test to see if I could take a fairly boring pic and give it a classic fantasy feel. I do like the coloring, so I guess it wasn't a failure, haha. Made in 2008.For those who don't understand the title, it stands for Naked Victoria With A Sword, a shortened version of the often-used term NVIATWAS (naked Victoria in a temple with a sword, named after the endless stream of naked sword-wielding 3D renders uploaded to Renderosity).
Victoria is a female figure by DAZ3D.

She traded armor and clothing for ease of movement. Maybe a bit of psychological advantage, too!

LOL, yes we had used that term for a looooong time at Renderosity, when the galleries were nothing but half-naked Victoria figures in a D&M temple with a sword. They're not quite as common now that we have many figures and backgrounds, but I still like them.

Thank you very much! It's been a while, so I don't really remember what I did...probably just painting the background with large "brushy" brushes in Photoshop and some strong color correction.

You know, I was saying maybe Smacky needs some time off, well, I'd like to see this girl in action. Especially because, fighting topless, she's going to be... uh... poetry in motion.
Not too sure about the loin-cloth thingy, it looks uncomfortable. How about something in silk?
I'd love to see her killing a few demonesses, or maybe some muscley guys, demons perhaps?

There's 'good' and there's 'puritan'! Anyways, I'm not sure the heroine is really 'good', she's just given the job of extinguishing evil, which is not the same thing.

Well, then they would be depriving the world of beauty, like owning the Mona-Lisa but only allowing those who can pay top dollar entry to see it. Therefore, they would hardly be good, right?
Indeed, it seems to me that if you have a nice pair, you are pretty much morally obliged to brighten people's day with them. I think John Stuart Mill would be with me on this, and possibly Buddha too (Note that the popular Chinese depictions of 'Laughing Buddha' show him with a fairly impressive rack, proudly on display).
Finally I'd put it to you that the idea that boobs should be covered is a modern abberation that wasn't prevalent in.... er, whenever it is that your artworks are set. The Earth used to be warmer, and we know it will be again, and the modern penchant for covering everything is a product of our culture having spent its formative years in a 'little ice age' (and also possibly a product of the ready availability of cheap textile producing technology).
Also boobs are effective weapons of mass distraction to be used to gain the upper hand in battle.

there are bare breasted sword babes and then there are BARE BREASTED Sword Babes. This is in the latter category. Like the way her nipples are the same color as her hair. If she would just put that chopper down, I know we could become friends.
