Description
Examples of my simple image "Classic NVWAS" before postwork (the raw render from DAZ Studio) and after about 45 minutes of postwork in Photoshop. Done as a test to see how much postwork could change a fairly straightforward (boring) image. I do like the classic fantasy feel it ended up with, so I suppose it was a successful test. Thanks for viewing.

Oh!! that's it! that's the wonderful effect you give to your images!. A great fantasy feel to it, reminiscent of Boris Vallejo style.
Someday you'll have to nudge me on the right direction to achieve that

Thanks very much! I don't know if it will be enough of a nudge, but I basically used a big painterly Photoshop brush with medium opacity for the background (switching colors randomly, lol). Curves really changed the colors, and the effect is even better if there's a lot of contrasting light and dark areas in the original render. That's why you can't really do this with photorealistic renders, the contrast isn't high enough.
Uh, I think that's pretty much it for this image. Hope it helps a little!
