Description This seemed to take ages to finish, I think mainly cos I was dreading finishing the shirt pattern!!

Anyhoo this is another Jackson Rathbone (of Twilight fame) portrait - chose the ref for two reasons - 1. Hadn't drawn anyone in a hat for a while and 2. I loved his cheeky smiley expression!

his hair for the last airbender movie looks unusual - really long on top and pulled back and shaved sides and underneath - not entirely sure that it suits him - but looking forward to that movie. Haven't seen New Moon yet - but hope to go soon - did you enjoy it?

I did, it was unusually long... About your description of hair, i guess it looks like that [link] . Have seen one magazine article about him with that kind of haircut. IΒ΄d say it looks OK on him, just unusal, but heΒ΄s a musician- thatΒ΄s how they look

Aww cheers!! you should totally give a Jackson portrait a go - just take it slow - start with a good clear ref pic and get all the measurement right - I personally start with the eyes and work outwards - and nearly all my drawing are pretty small so it makes the shading process less tedious!!
