I prefer the original Teen Titans too, both story as art style. Nonetheless I don't dislike Teen Titans Go, I think the cartoon style is really cute and easy to draw, and very colorfull, like my fanart. I especially like Beast Boy's animal transformations.

yes, it is. That is why I usually draw them just like friends. But sometimes, that fine line tend to blur a little.

Ya know, when my Latin Magistra (teacher) in high school talked about how she met her husband, I remember her almost waving it off and saying she "Married her best friend". Ooh, that gives me the idea for a drabble/short story !

You just read my mind. I always wanted to write a fics about them and their relationship. I don't know if they could be best friends, but good friends is enough for me ^^ They even can be friends with benefit for a while, before realise they are just looking for someone who to be close... something like that x3 

In the comic book Beast Boy make jokes and flirt with Starfire a lot. And if that were the case in the cartoon, things would be very interesting between them.

Any way, if you are planning to writte a fic about them, you definitly can count with my support ^^
