It's been a while since I've used DeviantArt, hasn't it? I used to have another DA account, but chose to nuke everything altogether and start from zero. :V

At any rate, hi! This is my persona among the furry universe, Sofia (hence my username!). Like any stereotypical skunk, she's sorta French, but not really! She's Quebecois, born and raised in Montreal. She had a happy childhood, with two loving parents who could charitably be called hipsters -- one the owner and head barista of her own cafe, the other a modern art sculptor and freelance writer.

As a teenager, she was mocked by her peers for a variety of reasons - one being that she's a skunk, with all the unhappy stereotypes that come with it. The fact that she was fairly chubby didn't help either, leading to old friends from primary school mocking her for her weight and generally tanking her self esteem. However, by the time she came of age, she began to find friends online who helped convince her that she was pretty as is. These days, she splits her time between working on her degree in English, working at a certain omnipresent electronics brick-and-mortar, hanging out at her mom's coffee shop, and spending money on simple luxuries.
