Natalie 2 tells me that Monica is in trouble. Down on the ground control station for Elevator* 47. I'm not sure if I feel any different about Monica - being both me and Natalie 2 me. But I know that I get down their fast to help crew in need. And fast means instantaneous.
N2 suggested the attire. I like it.
It says badass. And those who oppose me in the name of evil will find out how badass.
"Look what the cat dragged in." Dru says, walking out arm in arm with Nadia.
"This is over," I say.
"Let me handle this," Nadia says, lifting her shirt. "You know you want another taste."
"What I want," I say, tapping N2's great power, feeding into my threadmancy, "is for you to shut up." Pulling at the threads of reality, I duct tape Nadia's mouth shut and wrap her body several times in psionic rope, pinning her arms to her side. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Dru's eye nictate and I create an undetectable shunt system around her. Her head is enveloped in a storm of plasma that keeps striking her over and over again. She falls limp to the ground, twitching.
"You are both free of Keisha's geas," I say, banishing all of her control mechanisms - nearly two thousand between them combined. "And you are all healed." And I extend that to Monica as well. "Go get Monica and head for my complex in Iceland. I will be back shortly."
"She'll know we're free of her control," Nadia says. "And Meg and presumably Nyssa are up there."
"Change of plan," I say. "Dru, you take Monica to Iceland." I touch Nadia in the forehead, and add a kiss for good measure. "You have a single use of my power to heal and deprogram Nyssa. You get her.
"I'll deal with the Empyrean One."
