Damn! She handles all the basic stuff I throw at her. Time to step up -

I don't quite fall back under her onslaught of focused superheated coherent plasma she launches at me, but admittedly it was touch and go there. Standing my ground, I channel power - or try to - but her attacks are destabilizing. Meaning I can't channel while she's pounding me. How did she get this capable so fast. Carrier wave?
Good god, that was a mistake.
I've unleashed Natalie the Hunter. The Fontaine that bested Nyx** and for a short while, ruled the galaxy.
I could run but she'd probably chase me. That would not be acceptable. But still I need a moment.
I am the Empyrean One and I cannot be defeated***
One thing I am is smarter and I craft a shunt to redirect her power to channel back in an attack. The shunt is doing it's job, pushing most of her attack away harmlessly (though those vaporized by her blasts may disagree) and readying an attach that can't be destabilized.
It has better be soon, though, as the shunt itself is showing stability issues. My body's absorbing her power like armor but it's crushing me, trying to - and succeeding in - create stress cracks. I can last a few seconds more but if unchecked, will literally blow me apart.
With that energy I've stored from her, I launch a devastating attack!
