Description
There was always an unknown mystery regarding the only skeleton left on the underground. Doctor Wingdings Gaster, the assistant of the royal scientist, Dr. Alphys. One day he just appeared out of nowhere in Snowdin, and the town welcomed him with open arms. The young skeleton was a recently graduate scientist, who majored in the organic chemistry branch. No one questioned a thing about Dr. Gaster when he improved the water supplies and made improvements in the Core. Ever since his achievements, the skeleton was appreciated for improving the quality of life for the monsters.
Dr. Gaster became the scientist who spoke in hands because of his peculiar dialect. While he was the royal assistant, he was also training under the hand of Undyne, the royal guard. He was a neutral person who didn’t have a positive nor negative attitude towards pacifism. A very calm yet reserved person he was.
But there were some things that the human couldn’t decipher. Why did Dr. Gaster never wear a lab coat even if he was a scientist? Or why did he wear fingerless black gloves? The scientist never took off those gloves under any circumstances and always dismissed any questions about the subject.
*Dr. Gaster was a good friend, a good person even. So why? You decide to find out.
*This new mission feels you with determination.
The human left the library of Snowdin. That book about the history of skeletons didn’t serve for any help. They walked slowly to the house of their skeleton friend. The monsters passing by would say hello to them. The very familiar town that they saw hundreds of times. The snow crunching every single time they took a step. Once they were at the doorstep, they entered quietly the house. Was that incredibly rude and a bad etiquette? Yes, yes it was. But they had no choice, there was simply no way that they could get to Gaster if he was awake.
*The house was dead silent. Probably a small chance Gaster is actually asleep. (That skeleton doesn’t do much than work and work and work andwork…)
They tiptoed around the living room and peaked to the sofa. There he was! Sleeping like a log while his eyes revealed he was probably not sleeping through an entire week. The human carefully lifted up one of Dr. Gaster’s and took off the glove to find… huh?
*(Nothing… there must be something on the other hand. Try the right hand.)
They placed carefully the left hand of the scientist down and proceeded to take the other hand instead. They took off the black glove slowly… there it read…
* P-CS
WDG-0
*What?
The right hand of Dr. Gaster had a metal plate that had those initials. The plate seemed to be screwed in the hand of Gaster. It was horrible, no wonder why he didn’t want anyone to see it.
*This outcome brought you more questions than answers.

“What?!” A screeching and indecipherable scream echoed across the kitchen of the house. If it wasn’t for the two magic blue hands that appeared, they wouldn’t have figured that out. “H-human it was!- it is private!”
*You ask Dr. Gaster what is that plate.
“It isn’t like a skeleton thing- nor a normal thing- it is- ugh!” He stuttered, his voice trembling while the magic hands were shaking lightly. He took a long breath before sighing, he really needed to choose well his words. “I have a reason to not show it. I’m positive you’ll understand what is the definition of privacy.”
*You ask him what are his reasons.
“I just don’t like looking at it… it makes me feel an uncertainty, like I am forgetting about something…” He stood silent while gripping tightly his right hand. “… Something important. It just gives me a bad feeling.”
*Like what?
“It does not matter, I appreciate your concerns.” He turned to look at the human. “But I appreciate more my privacy more than anything, and this thing has been on my hand as long as I can remember. Maybe it isn’t important, who knows? I have tried to get it off, but even with the help of Dr. Alphys we have concluded that there is a chance of… further damage for my hand.”
*You tell him that you understand.
“Thank you, human.” Gaster gave them a soft smile before exiting the kitchen. “And please, let’s not speak of this subject matter anymore.”
*You ask him where is he going.
“I’m going to my weekly meeting with our majesty. He can get very concerned at times because of my “overload of work”.” He signed sarcastically, if that is even possible. “He doesn’t need to, but he takes care of everyone… anyway, I’ll have to go and I’m not letting you stay at my house. Can you leave?”
*You nod in response before he took his messenger bag and exited his house alongside you.
They watched as the skeleton walked away before vanishing into the fog of the snow.
*It went… well?? Bad?? Neutral, let’s leave it at that.
