Edit!I just saw that I totally forgot to shade her tongue! I can't believe I actually manage to forget that. But it's done now!! :'D
Also, I want to thank you all for being so nice in the comments! I've had this idea with Angela since December, but I didn't think it would be a good idea to draw it because I didn't know if people would get triggered by it. You know, with the whole "female Lombax don't have a tail" thing.
Let me tell you, the last time I just stared at the "submit" button, wondering if I should submit it or not, was back when I submitted that Ratchet and Donna shipping drawing.
So again, thank you so much for all the nice comments!!

It's been a little while since I draw Ratchet and Clank with lines, if you know what I mean.
It was actually really fun and enjoyable to return to. And even more fun to make a little comic! And I definitely plan on doing more like this one with other characters like Ratchet, Clank, Qwark, Nefarious and many, many more. Probably also Donna as well! So when I come up with a romantic, cute or another funny idea for a comic like this, prepare yourself!!!
And about this little Angela Cross coimc... yes, my jokes sucks, but I thought this was funny. I think this idea hit me because of how stiff her ponytail looks. That's really all I can say about this. So guys... just love me and my bad jokes.
And also, please remember this is just a joke, and that you shouldn't take this seriously.

I honestly don't know why Insomniac is treating Angela like she's the black sheep of the cast. And this comic PROVES how she can be such a great character returning to the story.

And I kinda feels like it's because of the huge debate about whatever or not she's a Lombax or not. And even though they have already confirmed she is a Lombax, you can tell in the future saga that not even Insomniac knows what to do with her anymore. I think they've kinda regretted confirming what species she is. I of course can't tell that for sure, but that's kinda what it feels like.
But I personally don't think that this should stop her from one day reappear in the games once again!!

The only positive thing I can think of as to why Angela seems so much like "persona non grata" is that the writers and series creators want to utilize the whole Max Apogee route, of which would undoubtedly bring the rest of the Lombaxes at last into the main story. Which, would likely mean several more years of developing a game or two to realize that story and gameplay potential.
And with their brilliant Spider Man game, well it's certainly obvious that the studio shifted their focus. And this is after nearly 5 or 6 continual Ratchet releases over the last decade or so!
I'm crossing my fingers that the story after Into the Nexus will be picked up, and I seriously do believe that no one at Insomniac wants Ratchet to disappear, so we wait to see.
Still, brilliant art and comics like this help the waiting extraordinarily, so super thanks for that, Sofie!

That is definitely also a possibility.
I don't think Insomniac is done with Ratchet and Clank just yet. At least, that's what the art book is kinda hinting at. They just don't know what to do next with the story, since they finished the story about Ratchet seeking the Lombaxes.
But it's gonna be exiting to see where the story will go next.

I think Angela and other female lombaxes are based off Manx cats, a cat breed that doesn't have tails when it comes to most cats of that breed.

I always liked the idea of female Lombaxes being the same height as the males, with hair on their head, and having tiger-like tails (as apposed to the lion-like tails the males have). The ears on the females are fine. I don't mind that since they're pretty cat-like.
