I finally defeated Ludwig in Cav's file yesterday! It was the first time I managed to beat him on my own without summoning Valtr and I EVEN MANAGED TO KEEP HIM UP THE STAIRS SO THE OTHER GUY IN THE ROOM SURVIVED THE FIGHT but he doesn't have any dialogue, if you try to talk to him he just sobs which was a bit disappointing, poor guy--

BUT I've been thinking about pre-horse Ludwig again, so here's some doodles sprinkled with headcanons featuring:
- baby Cavalier before he became the Cavalier (he looks completely different without his beard and wrinkles KHHH). Ludwig never knew him as anything more than just another face in an army, but to wee Cav, Ludwig was nothing short of a hero. Until everyone he knew died in one night and he blamed it all on Ludwig that is--
- teeny tiny Laurence. You can pry this headcanon from my cold, dead hands.
- and badly drawn Logarius being unhelpful. I'll come up with a different design for past Logarius some day probably, since I don't think he'd have grown out his long flowing locks and wizard's beard (or at least most of it) until he got stuck at Cainhurst. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
