Description
A long time ago in an alternate universe far, far away...Red the rebel soldier is in charge of security on a freighter bound for Neptune, packed with fuel, food and supplies for the ongoing struggle against the evil Empire.With her are the hapless rookies Kaycee and Karina, twins whose hair-care regime is more important to them than vigilance. Red is nervous about this trip, even though the rebellion is going well so far; she's putting on a brave face for a publicity shot, hoping that this is the only shooting she will be involved in.
But dark forces are gathering! Unbeknownst to the crew, a group of Empire soldiers are intent on their destruction.

Daz 4.10 with iRay, just an hour's render or so with postwork involving Topaz De-Noiser and some Photoshop for balance and LUT-work.
Updated to try and see if the PNG/JPG colour issue repeats itself, or was just a weird DA- update event.

Red in a sentry uniform is a special kind of exciting.
Here she is, as an unimportant and nameless sentry. One of uncounted many - but we viewers know her.
Seeing her wearing a sexy thing that exposes her body and implies impending sudden wasteful death is heavy.

I worry about Red a bit in this fantasy. That gives this image a life that it just can't have with nameless Dazzer models shaped like beautiful wimmin that haven't had their characters exposed like Red has.
That 'clones aren't real so I don't feel guilty about killing them en masse' ...is psychopath territory. (humble opion) Of course a clone is still a person of themselves. I think therefore I am. They must have feelings too?

Everybody matters in the Dubiousverse, it's just easier not to care about the one's we don't know.
I'm going on about this because here at the Phreep institute, humanistic ideas are a critical part of the weird death-porn experience. I find such lines of thought much more interesting than the empty philosophy of the self-deniers.
I hold that a clone is each of them just as important as the the original. I'd say the Julies prove that too. Just my thoughts though.

Regardless, I'm entertained because in my head Red has value. She's real in this fantasy place.
She's like a part of the family almost. That's why she brings such gravitas to every picture.
This is like watching that girl next door that you've known since you were a kid slip into a fantastically sexy uniform and rush off into a laser gun fight.
...and if a blaster beam were to burn through her beautiful girlish chest that you've sneaked peeks of a thousand times.... it would matter.
The beauty of it is it's High fantasy and we can send Red into combat again and again. Each picture is a world unto itself.
I prefer things to matter. Much more interesting.
It's fantasy but it's important somehow.

I've been wondering a thing though. Is Red a one of a kind in a world of clones?

As always Phreeep, you consider some really salient points that few can (or will) take the time to bring up. Let's face it, folks appreciate my stuff for a host of reasons: the technical Daz/3D stuff, the death-porn angle, the latex fans...we're all looking for something that may or may not have common ground. And then there's character, which I think only gets noticed by a tiny handful of people.
From the beginning Red was always meant to be a fish out of water-as Jolly once said, "adorably out of place". Which means she's got to be brave to be where she is; she's got no fighting spirit or suicidal rage to fall back on.
And the Julies, who're born and bred to be a disposable convenience for the powers that be-well, I count you as an equal partner in the development of their character, which runs absolutely contrary to their purpose.
That is, despite their circumstances, they love fun. They have empathy. They care about each other, and they live for today, because there's no alternative as they see it. And they drink and drug to help them rejoice in the shitty half-lives they're born into. It's hard to make a Julie cry, but when they do, they fucking make sure it means something.
And I think some of us death-pornists see character as just as important as form and function, because of the fact that if we care, their trials, tribulations and ultimately their deaths- become more important.
They matter.
A world of detail may not be necessary, because a lot of character is simply a thumbnail we apply immediately when we see a face: your imagination can do the work without much help or herding by some hack of a writer like me.
And it's funny how you mention that feeling of family- as if you've known Red from girlhood, laughed with her, had a crush on her, and now you worry- is she ready for this? Surely not!
Another level of recent weirdness- my august commissioner does not see Red as one of the desirable girls here- while I feel that her imperfections, her slightly odd nose, ruddy cheeks and so on- make her more real, and more human. Look at the perfect features of the girls flanking her. They are beautiful. But their faces have not yet acquired character. I won't worry as much when they're in peril.
