Description I found this method for easily creating a 3/4 view view from a partial profile in Jack Hamm's book, Cartooning the Head and Figure.  The book is chock full of info.  I had forgotten all about this until I tripped over it last night researching.  It seems silly, until you try it.  If you know how to draw it can be a real time saver.  It's especially good for drawing the same character from different views because the character will look like it's the same character in different head turns.  Whether it proves to be a tool or not, I think it's a cool toy, so I'm playing with it.  If you aren't familiar with it, give it a try.  Steps - just start with a profile.  Draw the missing side to accommodate your 3 /4 angle; 2) shorten the jaw line; 3) modify the features to reflect the new angle of perspective; 4) erase the midline.  Results may not be beautiful at first, but I'm sure they get better with practice.  This is one of those methods that brings to mind Burne Hogarth.
