I forget what they were for originally! I think they might have been pits of acid or just Β pits of toxic/ brackish water to hold certainΒ prisonersΒ in.

You can make out all the regular guards! Even Toxis! He's chillin' in the uppermost, top most pool.

Would you happen to know why Chaotic hasn't been shown and the website hasn't been updated?

I cannot be 100% certain, however as far as I know 4Kids has scaled back their programming and licenses as well as their staff. As far as the website I am not sure, I think TC Digital was in charge of that and I am unsure of their current status. Sorry I cannot be of more help in answering.
