A pic sold at AC 04. This one was a fun. Just a barbarian wolf lady with an absurdly huge AX. there is absolutely no ink on this image it's just clean pencils with color painted in the computer. The color is inspired by paintings by Frank Frazeta Paintings.Related content

I stumbled across this piece years ago, and it's been an absolute favorite of mine. I found it in an old folder, and finally got around to finding your gallery. Good stuff!

I love the lighting on this... and especially the crisp effect you've put into the weapon she is carrying. But what I love most about this piece is how lifelike you've made her seem. Almost like she actually exists, rather than a simple 2-D image.

Great pic. The character is very interesting. I find it hard to believe that there was no ink at all (come on, you inked digitally. I can see the borders).
The painting is fabulous! The way you shade it contrasts with the roughness of the character. Your anatomy was flawless, everything is at the right place and interacting. I think she is very beautiful!
The fact that she is a female muscular barbarian wolf carrying a huge Axe sounds quite comical to me! hahaha

If Frank Frazetta ever did furry it would look much like what you have rendered. Yes, the axe is oversized but when you're aping one of the great masters of fantasy art, such things are either a) overlooked or b) expected. Definitely a Frazetta style picture. I consider myself a fan of not only his work but Lois Royo and other fantasy artists. I am also a furry myself and I really appreciate this picture. If you are going to AC 09 and have any plans on making prints of this available, please let me know, I'll try to make sure I have enough to get a print of this one. Again, great job!
