This is the S.Domingos mine, the mine extends hundreds of meters deep undergroung, however it is not visible, after the mine was abandoned water poored in and the mines are now submerged, all that is left is this lake, the water is extremely polluted and acidic due to the Sulfur and other minerals present.
Despiste the warnings for people not to bathe in here, there are some who believe the water have healing properties and do it. Live on sight the rusty red with blueish tints make it obvious that this water is contaminated, i tried to transmit that into the photo but i am not so sure its noticeable.
