~Information about the species~

Bacic info:
Aerthy ponies are spirits, predominantly Japanese ones. They are very similar to yokais, each Aerthy also has its own legend. The legend could tell alot about the personality of the pony, its habits and behavior.
Aerthies could be any gender, or any kind of species (but this is specific), also any age.

Appearance:
The main part of Aerthy pony is its center - little bright sphere; it lets a pony to exist after death, so the spirit still can be here in the world. The body also doesn't decomposes, it stays young for all the time.
But that doesn't mean Aerthies are powerful spirits! Opposite, they have veery thin skin, it's pretty easy to damage it. The most vulnerable parts of Aerthy are - legs, neck and the part where the sphere is (their bodies are half transperent in that part). Trees growing from their body serve as a defense for them. The place, where the trees don't grow (I mean back legs) is constantly destoyed and recreated. That doesn't hurt too much, just really uncomfortably.
Also, everypony of this kind of species has a bright circle on the forehead, like a Japanese flag. They have NO forelocks, and their hair - very thin and brittle - can grow only from the nape or temples. Usually Aerthies wear a big hats to hide they are kinda...bald, but the hats are floating overhead.
The markings on their bodies show the level of the spirit:
1-5 markings - basic level
6-15 markings - average
15+ markings - high level

But most of ponies have about three or so.

Abilities:
They don't have any exact type of magic power, it can be whatever, some Aerthy ponies don't have one at all. But most of them have such abilities as high speed, floating, acupuncture and take either pony or spirit shape (we can call that "moving between two worlds"). Their physical power is just funny! They are so weak that even the simplest magic spell could destoy them.
Ah! And if you want to destroy Aerthy pony, all you have to do is to destoy its center.

How they birth:
I am not sure we can consider it as a birth, they just rise again.

Behavior:
Most of these ponies got a mental injury in a past life, that's why they almost always are agressive or depressive, but a few could be kind spirits that bring happiness to the world.

Location:
Basically, Japan and other counties in Asia.
