I kept the same basic form while altering the color scheme to fit more with the shadows. The white trim was better suited to a good ranger than an evil one. Blue-violet blends with the shadows and fits better with the dark persona. The most obvious change is the helmet. I got rid of the football style helmet and started over from scratch. Like the other Samurai rangers, Shadow ranger now has a visor shaped like a mirrored version of its element in kanji. (In this case, "shadow") The visor is also blue-violet in order to stand out against the black. I also tried to wrap the visor in such a way as to be reminiscent of a Nighlok.

Well, it looks really good for what it is. But, to be fully honest, all I basically wanted was a pixel template-made version of my Ranger. Don't get me wrong, this looks like a good original idea. Looks great on it's own. But, it's not mine. This is A shadow ranger, not my shadow ranger. So, it's not much of a request result.
However, it does look something like a small idea I've had (just haven't put up) for if Goseiger vs. Shinkenger was adapted. But still, not fully.

To be honest, I can't understand why you would want a pixel version when a photomanipulation is so much more accurate and has a much clearer picture. You can't get that kind of realism in a pixel version. That's why I thought you wanted a redesign. I appologize for my assumption. I can go back and do a real pixel match if you really want; but like I said, it isn't going to be very clear, especially with this template.

I consider it like, a drawing made realistic, just backwards. Like, people would indeed usually want to see their favorite drawn creations re-made to look realistic. But, why not be more open-minded than that? Maybe I'd ask for it like this, because I'd like to see it as if it were made with someone else's style or method. Know what I mean?

Ok. I'll go back and redo it. But can I keep the other one up there? I really think it looks cool and I'd rather not take it down. Maybe you can use it as a power up or something?

Oh yes. Definitely keep this version up. Indeed, it's great enough to leave up.
