I've been thinking about doing one myself, as it is quite a challenge. But, I can't get a good balance between the character and the thing that he/she is changing into.

That's COOL! It's like that episode of futurama. The WERECAR episode. Bender turns into a car at 12:00 everyday and has to try and kill Fry and Leela but obviously being a TV show they hunt down the original were car and defeat it.
