This is a picture that takes place slightly pre-chapter for Ithran. Poor guy's had a rough go of it for the past few months, as have all the Vindicators. Here he's probably contemplating life and considering whether or not he should disappear and open a little inn somewhere far away from all this mess.
His loyalty is starting to get a little shaky, if I'm honest. He's not going to abandon his Paladin anytime soon, but he's starting to realize the consequences of joining the Vindicators, a choice he made while young and desperate to feel in control of something in his life.Β

If he's ever somewhere where Little Bird could meet him, I'd love for the two of them to chat! Birdie felt quite the same before she hung up her cape and went to live in Nariah with her husband, so maybe she could offer some words of advice coming from a previous Vindicator.

Hmmm well, it wouldn't be uncommon for Little Bird to go to the surface every now and then at night for some time to spread her wings. c:
Perhaps he could stumble on her while looking for some resources or just traveling before she took off?
Or if he ever went into the caves for some food/supplies, she could meet him down there 8D
