Description
Random 74 is also a clay model that I made with the Sculpey III that I got for Christmas! But of course I HAD to made mah two favorite peeps! Sonic and Toad! WOOHOO!!!!
These two were sooooooooooo much more delicate than that Geno figure I made. Again they looked perfect BEFORE the oven, but then they sagged.... after falling over once first..... Sonic's arm broke off, Toad's eyebrow came off, Sonic's nose popped off, and one of Toad's shoes came loose.... You guys have nooooooooooo idea how frustrated I was! GAH! But it's ok, cuz it was nothing a bit of crazy glue couldn't fix!
These guys only stand about 4 inches tall this time, and they also stand on their own!
ANYWAY!!!! Enjoy the picture I also drew to complement my sculpture!
Sonic and Toad figure and sketch (c) me but Sonic belongs to Sega and Toad belongs to Nintendo!

Nice job! And yeah, crazy glue fixes everything (like duct tape!)

Yea well the clay sorta melted in the oven. Hahaha toad was much skinnier and Sonic's legs weren't so chunky too!

Oven? So, that's the final? I thought you were going to mold it over again.

Yep, once the clay is in place, you have to put it in the oven to warm it up, then take it out and let it cool and harden!

Now this is something to be proud of! Well done!
I also noticed on this and the pic of Geno that you've started to practice shading. Nice to see!

Thanks again! It was quite stressful watching it sag in the oven hoping it wouldn't fall down twice!
And yea hahaha i tried a little bit of shading. I'll try more eventually!
