"When the bad guys are out, all you have to do is shout now... WHOSE GONNA HERO UP!?"I enjoyed collecting the Marvel Super Hero Squad figures when I was an.... early teenager... well, most of my teenage life
starting 2008. When the show came out, it was pretty cool- the moment that is. While I had back and forth moments in opinion, I am going to say that The super Hero Squad Show is a great blend of story and characters and homage: and an actual good comic book show comedy (take note Cartoon Network/Warner Bros... wink wink.... glare).The show got me into more of the Marvel characters actually. I already liked Silver Surfer (Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer) Iron Man & Wolverine (2008, when the first Iron man came out and I got into the X-Men films), and Hulk... well, Hulk... But the show introduced me to and made me like Falcon 9and his bird Redwing, sorry that the MCU didn't do you justice our little feathered friend) and made me like Thor as well. And of course the made-for-the-show character of Reptil (very underrated and obscure).
For this art, along with who i already mentioned, there is Scarlet Witch (who replaced Surfer on the main roaster in the second and final season), Captain America, Ms. Marvel/Carol Danvers, and Stan Lee.. I m-mean, The Mayor of Super Hero City. I also took creative liberty with some of the characters and mixed them up with elements of other versions (like MCU Wanda or Hugh Jackman, and of course played with Silver Surfer being a surfer brah)

I liked this show, especially Reptil; he had a lot of promise & development. PLUS, he proves that ya don't hafta wear shoes to be a hero.

Reptil was also introduced in a comic book called "The Avengers Initiative Featuring Reptil" which I have myself & his outfit came from this as well.
His new look for Avengers Academy really sucks & they gave him jeans & boots.

I have only watched a few episodes of Dexter's Lab, so I have no idea who Krunk is... but, I'll take your word for it

He comes from The Justice Friends, a miniseries that randomly appears in between episodes of the main show and follows the lives of three superheroes who share an apartment, but it deals less with their lives as superheroes and more with their inability to get along as roommates. Major Glory (Rob Paulsen) is an uptight, by-the-book hero with a suit like Captain America's and Superman's skill set. Krunk (Frank Welker) is a goofy, silly, but lovable spoof of Hulk who doesn't appear able revert to human form but grows stronger the more he laughs,and is obsessed with the show TV Puppet Pals. Valhallen (Tom Kenny) is a laidback parody of Thor with a rock star motif (his name is a portmanteau of Valhalla and Van Halen) who sprinkles his speech with both faux Shakespearean English and casual slang (e.g., "Unhand those bodacious babes, Cow-Dude!").
