So, I wasn't going to post this today (I was only going to do it tomorrow), but I decided that today was a good day to post it, as any other. This drawing here is a very special one... in it we see Alya and her superhero alter-ego, Rena Rouge. They both look fantastic in it.

But you guys want to know what makes this drawing so special? It's because it was done by a very special person... but we'll get to there in a minute. Let me ask you this: Have you ever felt that no matter how much merchandise from any series, or movie, or anime or videogame, you may buy, you always feel like your collection doesn't have anything that makes it unique? Because I have felt, and with good reason. No matter how much merchandise you buy, you will always end up with stuff that everyone who loves that series, anime, videogame or movie, has or can have. Exceptions are of course, super expensive pieces of memorabillia that not everyone can acquire. And that's the reason why I stared to commission fanart at conventions. Because you get to keep somehting absolutely unique, and that nobody else has, making it an unique item in your collection. And with that said, I'm going to reveal who was the artist who did this for me, and who was kind enough to allow me to post it here, while she doesn't create a page here.

She's a very special artist, because she's a sweetheart and not only she drawrs beautifully, she also voices cartoons in Portugal... the artist who did this, is none other than Bárbara Lourenço, also known as lemondonuts on Instagram, who is the official voice of Alya and Sabrina in the portuguese dubbing of the series!!!!! Can you imagine the odds of this happening? A voice actor/actress who also happens to be an artist? There aren't many out there, and as far as I know, she's the only voice actor/actress in any MLB dubbing (including the French one and the English one, of course), who's also an artist. So yeah, I basically asked Alya to draw herself. xDDDD What do you guys think? Be honest, she would love to know your opinion on her work.

(And no, this isn't an April Fool's prank, it's the real deal. Part of the reasons why I wasn't going to post this today, it was because you might think I'm just pranking you, and I'm not. You can check her page on Instagram, because for the time being, she doesn't have one here on DA, but she's going to create one here soon. I will post the link to her DA page, once she creates it.

I'll definitely commission her again, soon. And you guys should also do it. This is an unique chance for you guys to get an illustration from one of the official voice actors of Miraculous Laydbug (even if it's the portuguese one... which by the way, is the best one, right after the original/french version).
