Description
In this day's society teachers and parents are molding their children into the perfect picture of what they think a person should be. But if the children want to have their own looks apon life or have their own feelings, they will be punished or restrained from thinking such things. But when they grow up without expirience in the world and without the knowledge of emotions they will not get far on their own. They will just be a usless robot of what they were formed to be, the mindless communitary citizen.---1:30hrs.-- Photoshop Elements-- not my usual work

Nicely done. I think the horse harness and blinders work well with what you are trying to portray. Wonderfully done.

Fucking bravo! That is a great sentiment, statement and image. All three well executed. One thing, and I dont know if you care or not but: upon seeing it my fist thought was of bondage gear. I realize that this is appropriate to the theme and concept but it also means that the intent of the piece is not inherent to the image w/o the accompanying text. Just pointing that out.

The fact that you chose to put a bridle and blinders on the figure was extreemely clever. Horses can be pretty intelligent but we can train them *just like this society* to be blind and to placidly walk when we say walk, and strop when we say stop. I'm very impressed.

I left the church when I was 16, so I can really appreciate this drawing. It has a bitter truth that people ought to see and you've done a very good job portraying it.

thank you yeah, i use to go the a strict luthern school..then after some rough times in the family i had to go to a different school. after leving that enviroment and being able to see the situation from a different view let me see really what types of things they were pushing on us. (no offence at all to anyone that goes to a religious school)

I love the message of this picture but I feel this is a bit out of date, now its more of how the peers and the media form people, but they arnt forming people at all, they are letting them draw their own conclutions, which makes people seem false... but thats just my opinion...

agreed, this is a very unique yet strong piece of work. very nice touch with the eye flaps. One might say they did the same back in the 1800's through around the 1930's. from there on it remained...yet changed to suit the times...maybe this is a changing of eras in action.

thank you. i was just full of ideas and had to let them out somehow. i guess since my summer vacation started ive been soul searching a lot more. i am actually using my mind more in my artwork, and becoming less passive on current events.
