Poseable Art Doll Commissions - CLOSED

What are Art dolls?
Art dolls are handmade, one of a kind creations that can bring life to any mystical monster or replicate animals. They are kind of like a cross between a statue and a plush - they are realistic and/or fantasy creatures with wire skeletons, stuffing muscles and faux fur pelts. Their eyes are each intricately hand made with pupils that appear to look at you from several angles. Best of all, they can be positioned in a variety of poses! 
These gorgeous creations can have scales, horns, wings, feathers or anything you can come up with; there are endless possibilities!

I am able to make anything from original creatures to OCs and ARPG Characters (from a group such as Tokotas , DracoStryx , QuillDogs  etc.). Photos of Tokota art dolls will count towards HP - I'm not sure about other groups. 



General Rules/Conditions:

  • Feel free to ask for quotes on price if you are unsure!
  • Paypal is preferred, other methods of payment can be discussed. 
  • I will not begin making your creation until I have received 1/2 of the overall price or a payment plan decided on. I will post you the creature once full payment has been received. 
  • I will be accepting three commissions at this time, though if I find others that I would like to create I may choose to accept more.
  • Larger sizes can be discussed.

Anyway... Hi! Thanks for taking an interest in my creations!

I would love to make your tokotas! I'm actually opening up commissions again (not officially announced yet), but with an extended working time to accommodate my busy collage schedule - this just means that the construction time will be a month or so rather than a week or so. If you'd rather wait until I have time to do them faster, I might be opening up regular commissions again mid-August, but I can't be certain. If you send me pictures of the tokotas you'd like to have made, I'd be happy to give you a price quote  

As for slots, thank you very much for you offer. Unfortunately I've had to take a step back from the group lately due to time restraints so I don't have time for breeding - I'd hate to see them go to waste. Thank you so much anyway, you're very kind!

I know how it feels when you said you were busy. I'm also a full-time college student and was working 30-40 hours a week on top of that. I was working in the food department so concessions, catering, and even the cafeteria kept me extremely busy. It was not fun. Thankfully my hours have taken a cut due to sports ending and not having to do concessions. 

Honestly, it doesn't matter to me. I am extremely patient. I don't mind if you want to wait till August to do them as long as you are enjoying your creation time. You can even make them whenever you feel like or if you just wanna kick back and have some fun. Either or it is up to you in the long run as an artist.

I was thinking of just doing three of these. I'm definitely wanting these two made:

Mysticah  -> design was accepted, just wanting for her upload

I'd also like one of these two, but I'm not sure which one would be easier for you. I'd rather have Rhyan done though over Concho:

Well, they're aoas aren't even done yet so I'm not sure how well that would have gone anyway. You are welcome to their slots after those aoas are finished. Just as a token of my appreciation for you doing them, that is if you ever become more involved with tokotas again.

Oookay here we go - finally managed to carve out a few minutes to sit and think about commissions. Thank you for being so understanding, collage is a crazy crazy time! I'm so sorry for making you wait.

They are all beautiful tokotas that will be a lot of fun to make! They don't quite fall into the small/medium/large proportions, otherwise the're height differences would be a tad comical, so instead I think the toki will be on the small side of medium and the dire will on the large size of medium (or just below/above respectively); so the toki will cost a bit more than a small and the dire a bit less than a large.

I can do the Toki for $70, normal build for $95 and the dire for $115. Postage to the USA for a parcel that size is $25. So in total it comes to $305 USD. How does that sound?

The HP count for an art doll, last time I check, is 10HP per tokota, though there seemed to be some confusion about how much each image of them is worth after that I'll take some fun pictures with them anyway to make it look like they're having a little adventure in Aus. 

I have a long line of photoshoots and assessments coming up, but things'll settle down by mid-June. If you want we can schedule the commissions for then? It'll give you some time to save up if needed and me some time to regain some sanity And catch up on comments... so. many. comments. *dies* If that's alright by you?

That works just fine with me. I am actually going to be moving in with my boyfriend tomorrow and Friday, plus finals all next week, so waiting till June is just perfect. Definitely gives me time to organize my life with this move. I already have to go through my things and get of the things I don't need (Cosmos is staying and my man seemed to like him <3) and then see if my grandparents to hang on to some of the stuff that won't fit like my school and dorm stuff. April and May are just going to be too hectic for me and bringing three new dolls along in that mess would just be too crazy. I'm hoping that by the end of May my life will finally be evened out and more organized. Mid-June is so perfect! Thank you so much! Please have a wonderful morning/day/afternoon/evening!

Hello, sorry for the slow response. 

My commissions are actually closed at the moment, and I'm not sure when I'll re-open them. I do occasionally offer customs for tokota stuff (for instance, I am currently offering a mini art doll and HP for a toki slot), but other than that I'm afraid I'm not really up to it at the moment. I just need to spend some time on my own projects for a bit... sorry.

If I do decide to re-open commissions, would you like me to let you know?

1. Do you do o.c. figures? Like figurines for desks.
2. Would you allow a art trade? Not like statue art trade- but like a drawing for a drawing.
3. Can you do triple clay creations? I have an o.c who never leaves her sisters out of fun- so that would be perfect!
4. How difficult is it to make those things?
5. Do you do ponies? Like Mlp present day style.

(Also I noticed that I have a note from you, which I have left unopened as I want to wait to reply until I can sit down and read it, and other notes, properly - once I open a DA note, the 'new note' alert goes away and I risk forgetting to respond - sorry for the wait! I just resumed school and have had barely a minute to breathe). 

1. Do you mean commissions? Yes, I take commissions for any custom characters. 
2. Sure, what do you have in mind?
3. Do you mean a statue that has three characters/a set of statues that go together? If so, yes.
4. Depends on the complexity of the character, type, size, weather and what mood I am in

1. YAY! You do do commissions! That's good- because when I get older I may buy one! (Super excited for that day!)

2. I had in mind we do like an o.c art trade- because I can't really draw my own one XD but I can try and draw someone else's. I don't know why but I do better on things I make for other people rather than myself. I guess I don't like letting other people down but I can let myself down? XD I dunno.

3. Yes- that is EXACTLY what I mean! A statue with three characters onto it. (The commission that when I get older I'll probably use since they mean loads to me)

4. Mood really does play a huge part in creating nice works.

5. First time for everything! Maybe you should try drawing or sculpting them for when you do get a commission.
